Get back on track with your high school diploma.

Learners completing high school credits proceed through a required course on an individual basis at their own pace and are well aware of the learner outcomes, learner activities and assessment techniques to be used. When a learner demonstrates competence in an academic area, credit is granted.

A student may enroll in the competency-based diploma program if his/her high school class has graduated.

H.S. Diploma classes are offered at the following times:

Days: Monday - Thursday, In-person evening classes: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The GED preparation program at Silver View Education Center can help you prepare for the tests. Pre-tests will help identify what content areas you need to study. You will then receive individualized instruction and practice in those areas. The GED prep classes are provided at NO COST and open to anyone interested.

GED/College Prep classes are offered at the following times:

• Days: Monday – Thursday
• In-person morning classes: 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
• In-person evening classes: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

We offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced-level English language classes. Classroom activities are designed by experienced teachers to help adults adapt to a new culture and improve their English skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The goal is to enhance day-to-day living.

We also provide additional classes: 

The ESL program is provided at NO COST for anyone who is interested in participating.

2023-24 English classes are offered September 2 - June 5 at the following times:

Mornings
Mon-Fri 9:00am - 12:30pm (in person)

Evenings
Mon-Thu 6:00pm - 8:30pm (online)

Be prepared for the USCIS interview to become a citizen! Study early U.S. history, the Constitution and the government in this eight-week course at NO COST to you. The focal point of the class is the 100 questions required for citizenship. USCIS documents will be provided and assistance in completing forms if needed.

The student must be able to meet the CASAS Intermediate reading level of 212 for admission to the Citizenship class.
